8/10

Let me first start by saying, I'm neither biased for loving nor hating Modern Warfare 2. That said, I will not give a thoughtless review like "this suxed Y did u maek it not even good or anything mw2 is awesome" nor will I say "AWESOME FUNNY 10/10!". The animation was, mediocre.

Enough to keep me paying attention though, not bad, just not great. There were only a few jokes that were funny to myself, but the ones that were were funny. I guess you have to be a die-hard MW2 fan to really laugh your ass off, so this movie doesn't appeal to me.

Especially considering this movie was aimed at that audience. From the reviews though I'd say you did a good job on capturing Modern Warfare 2. Nice job.

Amazing Oney

Seriously, 10/10. I don't review much these days, but I've literally watched this ten times and felt I needed to tell you how great you are. The comedic timing was great, the voices were perfect, the artwork was amazing...I have nothing to tell you as far as areas to improve on. This never gets old, and I've laugh EVERY time I've watched this. Bravo Chris, bravo.

Great!

Extremely funny, the dialog was priceless. A lot of good satire and over all great humor. The animation was interesting and wasn't too bland, the moth, hands, eyes and body moving around made it come to life. I hope this gets front-paged.

My Review

I know since this is on the front page and I'm not giving this movie a ten and saying "omg lol sweet ^_^" that this review will get flagged as useless or abusive. Anyways, here's my review. I don't understand what this was suppose to be about. I actually had to watch it a THIRD time to understand what the hell was going on. And you copying Total Drama Island and Andrew Kauervane wasn't exactly original by any means.

That would've been ACCEPTABLE to a degree except you didn't even give credit to Andrew Kauervane, and barely gave credit to Total Drama Island! There was only one contestant and the challenges were just plain... weird. The animation was good, but again, a copy of pre-existing things which took away from its creativity. By the way, you insulting people in the description by calling people nerds because they're being honest with you is immature.

Great

Great Halloween short, made me laugh.

Come on, I've seen way better button tutorials. It seems like you didn't even put much effort into it.

The description of your movie is way blown out of proportion, you don't show us how to design buttons, you just showed us two examples you did.

You didn't screen shot which would have made it a lot easier for the person to physically see what you're actually doing. You have terribly grammar skills and put improper punctuation marks all over the place - and if it's one thing you need in a flash tutorials - it's proper spelling.

Also what you should at least do is when you put the code in set the text to be "dynamic" so people can copy/paste the coding.

Not to mention the music got annoying. I mean, if you're going to make a tutorial on something as easy as a button...put a little meat on it.

It wasn't bad...but you could definitely of put more effort into it.

Good luck and keep trying.

My Review

Honestly this seems, unfortunately like one of those overlook gems on Newgrounds. I don't mean this is a great overlooked series, I mean it's one of those things were you clearly had a good idea and didn't execute it properly. This idea and series could have so much potential, you continue to draw the characters as stick people.

When you introduced Mario, and the cast of the franchise, I was expecting a little effort put into it. Mario was just a stick man with a sideways drawn nose, a mustache, and a line representing a hat. I highly suggest you get skilled enough in the artistic department to at least be able to draw bodies or faces properly if you want more views and fans. Again, this series could be a lot better. I enjoyed "watching" this, but it felt like you didn't put much effort into it at all.

The idea is their, but the passion for the series isn't. The backgrounds were another big problem with this, as it was often quite plain. Some times the next frame would show a picture or an object for some reason switch positions.

The clouds could use some simple tweening which would add at least a lively affect. I suggest adding separate layers for individual things. Such as, text, people, backgrounds, and so on. That will put a stop to people twitching and so on, it will make thins much easier.

Voices would be much needed to make this series whole. If you're not going to do that, at least add some subtle background music so I don't just feel like I'm reading. I know you added the Mario music but that got a bit screwy towards the end.

I can tell you are quite new to flash and animation, so I hope the above advice will help you greatly improve on your skills and make this the great series it should be. Because you definitely have the story telling aspect down.

Good luck,

Great

Amazing animation and music, with a chuckle out of me. I loved the expression on America's face. This was priceless and definitely a front-pager. I love your work you never seem to let me down. This was perfect, no flaws 10/10.
